Kuromi: Sanrio's Halloween Queen

Its officially spooky season and you know what that means? It's Sanrio's Halloween Queen's month! It's all about Kuromi! 

Here are some interesting facts about Kuromi:

• Kuromi is a Sanrio character from My Melody's universe. She's a white bunny wearing in a black jester hat with a pink skull and a devil's tail. The skull's expression mirrors Kuromi's mood.

• Kuromi was born on October 31st (Halloween).

• Kuromi is an idol! In 2021, Sanrio released a campaign called the "KUROMIfy the World Project" which debut Kuromi's original song, Greedy Greedy. 

• Kuromi made her first appearance in 2005 as as antagonist of the anime series of 'Onegai, My Melody'. But as of 2003, she has her own spin off anime short series called 'Kuromi's Pretty Journey'!

• Despite Kuromi's tough and punk appearance, she is actually quite girly and has a fondness for good-looking guys. She enjoys writing in her diary and is captivated by romantic short stories.

• Her favourite colours are black and pink.

• She has a purple tapir sidekick called Baku. Baku can also fly! Baku is based on the mythical creature in Japanese folklore that eats nightmares! 

Kuromi is also the leader of an all-female notorious biker gang known as "Kuromi's 5" (but instead of riding motocycles they ride tricycles with modifications). The members are: Nyanmi (a purple cat), Wanmi (a orange dog), Konmi (a white fox) and Chumi (a small mouse).
